Pseudomonas fluorescens is a promising biocontrol agent and PGPR for sustainable agriculture, They are suitable for application as biological control agents due to their abundant population in natural soils and plant root system and their capability to utilize many plant exudates as nutrients. It act as both biological fungicide and biological nematicide.

Mode of action
It acts as antibiotics against plant pathogens. It also produces antifungal compounds which are fungistatic, inhibiting spore germination and lysis of fungal mycelia. The bacteria outcompete pathogenic soil microbes by siderophores.
Target Diseases
Blight of Rice, Disease caused by Rhizoctonia sp and Xanthomonas sp, Blight of maize.

Cereals, Fibre crops, Plantation crops, Spices, Aromatic crops.
Method of application:
• Liquid
Soil application: Mix 2 L Pseudomonas with 200 kg organic manure(for 1 Acre), keep the mixture under shade for one week and apply to the soil. Apply 1kg in moist soil/base of trees, 250g in potted plants.
Seed treatment: Mix 10 ml Pseudomonas with 1kg seeds. Dry in shade for 30 minutes before planting and sow with in a day.
Foliar spraying: Mix 10 ml Pseudomonas in 1L of water and spray on the foliage during evening hours and also drench at the base of plants.
• Powder
Soil application: Mix 20 kg Pseudomonas with 200 kg organic manure (for 1 Hectare), keep the mixture under shade for one week and apply to the soil. Apply 1kg in moist soil/base of trees, 250g in potted plants.
Seed treatment: Mix 20g Pseudomonas with 1kg seeds. Dry in shade for 30 minutes before planting and sow with in a day.
Seedling root dip: Mix 2 kg of Pseudomonas with 50 L of water. Immerse the seedling roots for 10 minutes before planting.
Foliar spraying: Mix 1 kg Pseudomonas in 50 L of water and spray on the foliage during evening hours and also drench at the base of plants.
Potted plants: Apply 20g Pseudomonas in potted plants.
