Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (V A M)

Vesicular - Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (VAM) which is actually a symbiotic association between phycomycetous fungi and angiosperm roots. The fungus forms vesicles and arbuscules inside the root cortex and hence cause little damage to the tissues. Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (VAM) is a fungus which has the ability to dissolve the phosphates found in abundance in the soil.
